How It Works

From first conversation
to engineer shipping code.

No retainer. No lengthy intake process. No agency bureaucracy. Here is exactly what happens when you work with us.

For Hiring Companies

Five steps. Most clients have an engineer in under two weeks.

01

You tell us what you need

A 20-minute call or a detailed email. Stack, seniority, team context, timeline. We ask specific questions because vague briefs produce wrong matches.

02

We match against our active roster

We don’t post a job and wait. We review our pre-vetted roster immediately. If we have the right profile, you hear from us within 48 hours. If we don’t, we tell you honestly.

03

You meet the engineer

We facilitate a technical interview on your terms — your format, your questions, your team. No sales pressure. You decide if it’s the right fit.

04

Offer and paperwork

You extend an offer directly. We handle the engagement logistics. Net-30 payment terms. Direct contract between your company and the engineer after placement.

05

Engineer ships

Most engineers are productive in week one. They’ve worked in distributed teams before. They don’t need hand-holding on remote culture — they’ve been doing it.

We’ve had clients go from first conversation to signed offer in six days. That’s not typical. But it’s possible. Ready to start? See the engineers available now →

“We work with a limited number of companies at any given time. Not because we can’t scale. Because quality matching requires attention, and attention doesn’t scale infinitely.”

For Engineers

What it looks like from your side.

01

Application

Fill out our intake form. CV, GitHub, stack, availability, English level. Takes 10 minutes. We review every submission personally.

02

Screening call

A 30-minute call in English. We’re assessing communication as much as technical depth. Both matter to US clients.

03

Technical assessment

Stack-specific. Not generic puzzle-solving or whiteboard exercises. Real architecture questions, real system design, real problems from production environments.

04

Profile approval

If you pass, you join our active roster. We represent you exclusively to US tech companies. Your CV goes nowhere without your explicit approval.

05

Introduction

When a client need matches your profile, we introduce you. You interview on your terms. You decide if the company is right for you.

We represent engineers who have options. If you’re exceptional, we want to know you. See the engineer criteria →

The Difference

Not a marketplace. Not a staffing agency.

Marketplaces

What you’re used to

Hundreds of candidates. Algorithmic matching. You review CVs for weeks. Wrong fits waste everyone’s time. High volume, low signal.

Staffing agencies

Also what you’re used to

Retainer upfront. Long intake. Sourcing starts after you pay. Candidates you’ve never heard of. Guarantee windows that protect the agency, not you.

What this is

Pre-vetted roster. No retainer. Engineer introduced within 48 hours of match. You interview before you commit. You pay only when you hire.

A few more questions.

We tell you. We don’t send you a close-enough match and hope you don’t notice. If the right profile isn’t on our roster, we say so and discuss timeline for when it might be.

If an engineer leaves or is let go within 90 days for reasons attributable to them — misrepresented skills, performance, or departure — we replace at no additional fee. Client-side terminations or role eliminations are not covered.

Our primary focus is US tech companies hiring remote engineers. We’ve worked with US-founded companies with distributed teams. If you’re outside the US, reach out — we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

Senior only. We define that as 8+ years of relevant experience in most cases, 5+ for genuinely exceptional profiles. We don’t place mid-level or junior engineers. It’s not what we do.

Ready to hire differently?

We work with a limited number of US tech companies at a time. If you’re hiring senior engineers, let’s talk.
