Who We Are

CzechDevUSA is a talent placement firm connecting senior Czech and Slovak software engineers with US technology companies. We operate remotely and serve clients and candidates internationally.

What Data We Collect

From hiring companies (via contact form): name, company name, work email, role requirements, tech stack, team size, timeline, and any additional information voluntarily provided.

From engineers (via Fillout intake form): name, contact details, CV/resume, GitHub profile, technical skills, work history, English proficiency, availability, and salary expectations.

From all visitors (automatically): standard web analytics data including pages visited, time on site, browser type, and approximate location. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.

Why We Collect It

Hiring companies: to assess whether we can help, match you with relevant engineers, and follow up on your inquiry.

Engineers: to evaluate your profile for our active roster, facilitate introductions to relevant clients, and maintain our working relationship.

Visitors: to understand how people use the site and improve it.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except where necessary to operate our service (e.g., our form provider Fillout, our email provider Google).

Legal Basis (GDPR)

For EU/EEA individuals, we process data under:

• Legitimate interests: evaluating candidates and client inquiries
• Contractual necessity: fulfilling placement engagements
• Consent: where you have voluntarily submitted information

How Long We Keep It

• Hiring company inquiries: 2 years from last contact
• Engineer profiles: 3 years from last contact, or until you request deletion
• Website analytics: 12 months

Your Rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion
• Object to processing
• Request data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time

Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices. Data is stored on secured systems. We do not store payment information.

We use the following services which have their own privacy policies:

• Netlify (website hosting): netlify.com/privacy

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
